[Debian-med-packaging] Bug#949355: Removing simpleitk from Debian (Was: simpleitk FTBFS: test failures)

Hi Ghislain,

I tried to upgrade simpleitk to latest upstream in Git but failed.  IMHO
only the latest upstream which is supposed to be compatible to ITK5
makes sense to support inside Debian.  You are listed as Maintainer of
the package.  Do you think you are able to work on this package?
Otherwise I'd like to ask for removal from Debian.
