I think this was not the reason for the rejection.  As Mechtilde tried to
explain the

   3D-Slicer-1.0 license

is non-free.

We need to talk to upstream about this.  Do you have some close contact
which might give a good chance to somehow avoid this license?  If this
can't be changed the package has to go to non-free unfortunately.
