Package: rtc.debian.org
Severity: normal
Hi,
Given that all DDs now have several @rtc.debian.org communication
options (at least, SIP and XMPP), it should be useful to give some
indication as to whether said accounts are used at all — This bug can
be seen as complementing #803396, as I see two separate cases, one
where the DD in question never before used one of these services, one
where they use a different one.
Besides this, given this is within the realm of the possible with XMPP
(don't know about SIP), it could be useful to know if a person has
used the account recently or not (i.e. if I abandon my XMPP account
now, it will still be marked as "has been used", but the messages
won't reach me.
So I don't know, privacy-wise, how many options are we willing to
choose. Another option could be notifying the DD of connection
attempts — That is, after $grace_period days of not logging in to
XMPP, the server could mail my corresponding @debian.org address
notifying me there is a pending communication.
Or, or... ... ... :)
