Bug#718569: mouse-selectability of objects is lost right after saving a project

Greetings, 

I have to admit I do not know if this is a bug or a feature but I
systematically loose selectability of any item in my project upon
saving a file. The only way I found to be able to select items is to
close the file and reopen it. This is awkward.
