Justification: fails to build from source

Builds of gazebo covering only its architecture-dependent binary
packages (as on the autobuilders) have been failing:

    ls: cannot access debian/gazebo3-common/usr/share/gazebo-*/media/gui/fonts/DejaVuSans.ttf: No such file or directory

Could you please take a look, and account for such builds one way or
another?
