Package: lua-torch-sundown
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
according to Debian policy[1] embedded convenience copies of libraries
should not be used but rather packaged seperately.
[1]: https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-source.html#convenience-copies-of-code
Your package seems to use an embedded copy of the sundown library,
version 1.16.0. There are at least two other Debian packages which
also embed a copy of this library:
- libdr-sundown-perl,
- python-misaka and
- (possibly) ruby-redcarpet.
You might want to coordinate with the other maintainers on getting
sundown packaged properly.
Thanks,
--Daniel
