Package: cbp2make
Version: 147+dfsg-2
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
This issue was originally reported in Ubuntu as
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cbp2make/+bug/1871579.
Since the only difference between the Debian and Ubuntu verison was
a rebuild, that seemed strange.
After confirming the binary was still missing after a rebuild in the
Ubuntu development version, I tried the same on Sid.
The current version of the Debian package contains the following:
$ dpkg -L cbp2make
/.
/usr
/usr/bin
/usr/bin/cbp2make
/usr/share
/usr/share/doc
/usr/share/doc/cbp2make
/usr/share/doc/cbp2make/README.Debian
/usr/share/doc/cbp2make/changelog.Debian.gz
/usr/share/doc/cbp2make/changelog.gz
/usr/share/doc/cbp2make/copyright
/usr/share/doc/cbp2make/usage.txt
/usr/share/man
/usr/share/man/man1
/usr/share/man/man1/cbp2make.1.gz
If I do a local rebuild without any changes, I end up with:
$ dpkg -L cbp2make
/.
/usr
/usr/share
/usr/share/doc
/usr/share/doc/cbp2make
/usr/share/doc/cbp2make/README.Debian
/usr/share/doc/cbp2make/changelog.Debian.gz
/usr/share/doc/cbp2make/changelog.gz
/usr/share/doc/cbp2make/copyright
/usr/share/doc/cbp2make/usage.txt
/usr/share/man
/usr/share/man/man1
/usr/share/man/man1/cbp2make.1.gz
I am not sure why, but when rebuilding this package the resulting
binary package is missing the actual binary.
