Hi, Julian
That worked! Here's the output:
Python 3.11.2 (main, Mar 13 2023, 12:18:29) [GCC 12.2.0] on linux
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license()" for more
information.
============== RESTART:
/home/mike/Downloads/check_version_info.py =============
Info file
/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/Shredder-2.9.0.Odd.Olm.egg-info
has invalid version 2.9.0 Odd Olm
I apt purged rmlint and rmlint-gui followed by an apt autoremove. Then,
restarted Spyder and the error message did not appear.
To verify, I reinstalled rmlint and rmlint-gui. Then, restarted Spyder
which reproduced the error message.
Then, repeated the whole purge, test, install, test, purge cycle once
more to re-verify the rmlint-gui (or rmlint) version error as the cause.
If you want me to try something else, let me know, but it sure looks
like the 1040179 bug report can be closed.
Thanks, Mike
