Thanks a lot for analyzing the issue and proposing a patch to implement 
riscv64 support. It would be best to propose the support extension 
upstream to epics-base developers. This would not only reduce the 
Debian-specific overhead, but might as well be beneficial to epics-base 
developers. Could you forward the patch to them please?
