severity 1088894 serious
thanks
Hi. I'm restoring the original severity now that the openmpi
transition has happened (and this package has propagated
to testing).
I've built the package again today in unstable and both
"dpkg-buildpackage" and "dpkg-buildpackage -A" fail for me,
while "dpkg-buildpackage -B" seems to work.
(This is consistent with the observations from Bastian two days ago).
I'm adding a recent build log for this package (this time binary-indep)
to the build logs directory here:
https://people.debian.org/~sanvila/build-logs/202412/
Regarding reproducible-builds, I don't think it would be fully
accurate to say that "this issue is not seen on reproducible builds".
If we look closely we can see this for example:
https://tests.reproducible-builds.org/debian/rbuild/unstable/armhf/python-escript_5.6-9.rbuild.log.gz
My offer for a VM to reproduce this still holds if necessary.
I would like to look at this myself, but I would not be able
to put any changes in salsa until Alastair put theirs.
Thanks.
