Thanks for your diligence while working on this package. I've
accepted it, but there are a couple of findings to fix.
First, regarding the custom BitMagic attribution requirement (asking for
references on product/project pages), this has been reviewed and is
accepted as DFSG-free (comparable to the BSD 4-clause advertising
clause). However, there are still a couple of gaps in the copyright
file:
- lang-maps/jni/src/jnialloc.h has an explicit MIT/Expat license header
copyrighted by Anatoliy Kuznetsov, but this file is not listed.
- Almost all of the Makefiles (including Makefile, makefile.in, and the
makefiles inside samples/, tests/, and utils/) contain a copyright
notice and MIT/Expat license header. They are currently covered under
the general catch-all Files: * as Apache-2.0, so their MIT/Expat status
should be documented.
Here is a summary of the files with missing or incorrect licensing info:
| File | License in Source | License in d/copyright | Note |
| :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- |
| lang-maps/jni/src/jnialloc.h | MIT/Expat | [Missing] | Explicit MIT header |
| Makefile | MIT/Expat | Apache-2.0 (via `*`) | Explicit MIT header |
| makefile.in | MIT/Expat | Apache-2.0 (via `*`) | Explicit MIT header |
| samples/*/Makefile | MIT/Expat | Apache-2.0 (via `*`) | Explicit MIT header (many files) |
| tests/*/Makefile | MIT/Expat | Apache-2.0 (via `*`) | Explicit MIT header (many files) |
| utils/*/Makefile | MIT/Expat | Apache-2.0 (via `*`) | Explicit MIT header (many files) |
Thanks for addressing these in your next upload.
