First of all, Sage does not support Python 3 yet. Of course, you can 
already start building Python 3 packages for its dependencies (which 
should all support Python 3). We do have experimental builds of Sage 
with Python 3, those use Python 3.6.1. So I think that's the version you 
should aim for.
