I see. That sounds best. I see Emilio from the release team replied there not too long ago, we could make this request directly on that ticket.

Separately, shall we package ECL 16.1 for Debian? That is what Sage are using. It might make the maxima upgrade easier.

I'll do some more research about FASL and ping Camm about it again.

Separately, have you guys seen TclErrors about DISPLAY not being set? I'm getting that on my remote build machine. I'll see if it's easy to fix, if it's too hard then we can hack around it using xvfb.
