[xml/sgml-pkgs] Bug#482140: docbook-xml: Package does not install: update-xmlcatalog: error: entity already registered

When configuring docbook-xml after installation, I get the error

update-xmlcatalog: error: entity already registered
dpkg: error processing docbook-xml (--configure):
 subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

This happened on a just installed box, upgrading from stable -> testing 
-> unstable.
