I should be clear, I'm upgrading from Etch to Lenny.  I'm attaching a
tarball of /etc/xml.  I will try another upgrade from Etch to Lenny
here soon and report my findings.  Since I'm upgrading a cloned VM of
Etch, I'm able to restart the process at any time.
