Aha! You are talking indexing jump which used to work only for CJK.
The system default is hypertex and I used it all ISO languages.
I can change all to use unicode and voila! I get nice index.
I have no clue on how these mechanism works. I am extremely confused
current state of tex and texlive.... Oh well it works.
