We can.

DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=nostrip

exists and gelemental is built within minutes on any recent system.

There are currently none and upstream is also not active. I didn't get any
response on my suggested patches.

This is possible without an explicit -dbg package.

At the moment I would reject your request. There are no regular crash reports,
there is not much development activity and no huge user base. If necessary
it can be compiled with nostrip set and any reproducible crash can be examined.
