Why do you think tasks are only targeting at end users? I use them for
installation on my boxes as well. You should rather specify the target
audience in the description of the task so an end user will be informed
that these packages are probably not well suited for him.

I'm not sure if I understand your proposal correctly. Could you be more
verbosely? For now I do not really see to add extra code which might
make things more complicated (it is not only about the code also the
syntax of the tasks files becomes more complicated) if the problem can
be handled with proper description as suggested above.
