[Debichem-devel] Moving packages to git

Dear fellow Debichem maintainers,

Looking to the not too distant future when svn hosting will not be an option
for debichem and also recognising that there are vastly more people willing to
work on git repositories than svn repositories these days:

On Monday, 8 January 2018 20:48:23 AEDT I wrote:

… a first pass at converting all remaining packages is at

	https://people.debian.org/~stuart/debichem/

While these repositories can be cloned for testing purposes, this location is
quite obviously not their final resting place and can't receive pushes.

The conversion often has rough edges but since fixing them can be rather hard
to automate it's pretty common to not bother, leaving "good" to be "good
enough" even if not "perfect". The resulting repos will still need to be
finished off with upstream branches (or not) pristine-tar branches (or not),
hooks (or not) and Vcs fields updated to either anonscm or salsa.

Please have a look.

These are based on svn as at:

Last Changed Rev: 7316
Last Changed Date: 2018-01-07 09:07:06 +1100 (Sun, 07 Jan 2018)

the svn-all-fast-export rules and authors files are there for the curious (and
the necessary svn dump is at alioth:~stuart/debichem-svn.dump.xz for the
overly curious).

cheers
Stuart
