i think - UI-UX is a neck of this project for a mass-user,
(networking is a head, in this case :)
i hope(i can't see other proper variants) - this project would
use the web apps as a clients for configuration,
so - it would be more JavaScript in the end, but Python is
everywhere now, so you'll probably won't avoid it here  :)
same for C and C++ if you'd wish, i think.
