I read the document, only to find I was "re-inventing the wheel" with my FBX
suggestions, sigh :(

I liked the documents "big picture approach" and I think the FBX's wiki is
missing that vision for users like me. That's why I proposed the above
glossary because I was afraid the project was missing the bigger picture. I
realise now that the developers have all this stuff in their heads and they
just write wiki entries for the hard stuff like identity management. This
explains why the wiki is based on email subjects rather than proper topics.
I appreciate the developers are only volunteers too and their time is best
spent on coding. I would like to document what is in their head which may
not be of much value now, but I do believe in time that documentation would
be of immense value to future volunteers.

I noticed you were one of the authors of this document - well done! The
document reminded me that data portability is very important and I don't
think that's a stated goal of the FBX project. It's a pity the document's
content cannot be shared with this project due to the copyright statement.

Before I read this document I shared the social web vision in your document.
However, the corporate icons in the documents diagram's made me realise that
my personal information is being shared with corporations (Facebook,
LinkedLn, Myspace)rather than "friends". Now I am of the opinion that my
personal data should only be shared with people on an FBX or with Guests to
my FBX. IMHO now, all user generated content should be stored on an FBX to
protect a users copyright. If the user wishes to make a commercial profit
from their content, then they can place their content on commercial websites
like stockphoto for photos.

Thanks for the link, it was quite enlightening!!
