Absolutely! This is a very thorough style guide. I really like the colors
and typography. The logo may need more workshopping. Sadly the first thing
I think of when I see the butterfly is the MSN logo. We'd end up having a
more conversations about how we haven't got anything to do with windows
than we'd want.

That said, I do agree that something like a butterfly is more immediately
recognizable than the GNU is -- present company excepted. Perhaps we should
take a look at birds.
The bee is a good suggestion, especially since bees are social and work in
concert to accomplish important tasks, like protecting the hive. Perhaps a
detailed logo would look a lot like a bee and the abstracted version could
be a yellow and black box with wings?
Just brainstorming. Thank you Robert for taking thetime to lay out all the
peices involved in a visual identity!
