Hi all,

I saw this talk at FOSDEM:

The project is http://unhosted.org/ - and it seems more than
compatible with the vision of the FreedomBox. I'm surprised I hadn't
come across it before now.

The concept is simple... third-party services use for storage a
standard service that *you* specify. In other words someone (you
trust) could provide a unified cloud storage service, and all the
other sites you use can store/retrieve your data from here, rather
than their own database. Naturally your own FreedomBox could be your
storage.
