Would it be suitable to have an "app" that would GUIfy serving one or more
plain HTML&CSS websites: user just selects the website's root directory?
Something that would encourage beginners and make things faster for
everyone.

For a fancy version, one could add a test mode that would serve only to
the Plinth administrator interface, Linklint to notify of dead links
regularly, a button for HTML/CSS validation (w3c-markup-validator and
wdg-html-validator), a tidy/revert button (perhaps with tidy and csstidy)
and links to the W3C tutorials.
