Hi,

Below are links to three small patches with respective bugzilla entries
I made for minicom in Fedora recently, so you can include it upstream
for benefit of other distributions as well.

Bugzilla Bug 248701: Minicom consumes 100% CPU upon error on a serial device
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=248701
http://cvs.fedoraproject.org/viewcvs/*checkout*/rpms/minicom/devel/minicom-2.2-ttyerror.patch

Bugzilla Bug 246465: Minicom might dereference NULL pointer when it is suspended while exiting
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=246465
http://cvs.fedoraproject.org/viewcvs/*checkout*/rpms/minicom/devel/minicom-2.2-sigs.patch

Bugzilla Bug 302081: Minicom attempts to write to the capture file even after it has been closed
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=302081
http://cvs.fedoraproject.org/viewcvs/*checkout*/rpms/minicom/devel/minicom-2.2-capture.patch

I have no idea if other our patches have been sumbitted here, so you
might want to have a short look at:
http://cvs.fedoraproject.org/viewcvs/rpms/minicom/devel/
