I just upgraded minicom from version 1.75 to 2.2. I use it to connect to the console tty line on an embedded Linux machine running 2.6.18 with ncurses 5.4. When I run the ALSA utility "alsamixer", I get the following screen:
lqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq[AlsaMixer v1.0.13 (Press Escape to quit)]qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqk

With minicom 1.75 I see this, which is correct:

Can anyone tell me what's wrong?
