Minicom error

hello,

built using macports on Darwin 10.4.0.

I have tried the following terminal command and had no luck. I see there was a patch issued for this but I don't know how to patch the source. 

iMac:~ jp$ sudo minicom -s
Password:
minicom: there is no global configuration file /opt/local/etc/minirc.dfl
Ask your sysadmin to create one (with minicom -s).
