Based on an earlier discussion on this mailbase I have also checked the installed versions against the installed OS:

$ apt-cache policy fslview
fslview:
  Installed: 4.0.1-2~nd12.04+1
  Candidate: 4.0.1-2~nd12.04+1
  Version table:
 *** 4.0.1-2~nd12.04+1 0
        500 http://neurodebian.g-node.org/ precise/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

and

$ apt-cache policy fsl-5.0
fsl-5.0:
  Installed: (none)
  Candidate: 5.0.6-1~nd12.04+1
  Version table:
     5.0.6-1~nd12.04+1 0
        500 http://neurodebian.g-node.org/ precise/non-free amd64 Packages

Still not sure what's wrong here……

I know that on our other cluster (red hat based) we needed to manually install a required qt library, but when I checked on the ubuntu system it looked like everything was in place.
