[Neurodebian-users] Vanderbilt mirror error message

Yes, I get an infinite hang when using apt-get
$ apt-get update
as soon as it hits masi.vuse. I too can get the timestamp using wget,
and, it seems, I can get to if from a browser off-campus. When I put
the addresses into /etc/apt/sources.list.d/neurodebian.sources.list I
get
Get:11 http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu xenial-updates/universe
i386 Packages [373 kB]
0% [Waiting for headers]
essentially forever. And... I can get to it using a browser on the
same machine. (?!) I get a listing of files at
http://masi.vuse.vanderbilt.edu/neurodebian
So, the issue appears only to be when using apt-get...? I did try
after disabling the host firewall, too, just in case. This is a
machine behind a NAT, but I could swear it worked for many months
about a year ago and then stopped, maybe during the summer.
Sorry to clog up the mailing list with this....
