the lightweight validation plan that I pointed is there to assist testing.
it has been made to ensure the new features are working, and not
causing regression.

as told, at least Fred and myself (and anyone interested in) will
apply it again on master / trunk.
Emilien will also check it, from a code perspective.
you can also consider it, for the peace of mind.

can you still handle the merge?
when do you see a room for this?
