I bet the descriptor just shows an 8-byte in/out buffer. (We could
probably fold some of tripplite_usb into newhidups, but it would be a
separate subdriver from the more intelligent Tripp Lite UPSes that
actually conform to PDC.)

Another reason why it might be closer to tripplite_usb is the "0x3A,
0x53, 0xAC, 0x0D" query, which translates into ":S" + cksum + CR. The
response looks similar to the OMNIVS series. It also shares the same
PID/VID as the OMNIVS.
