No, the problem is that the 3110 is out of production and i can't
get hold on one with the usb interface. The ups is supported on
the 'serial' interface as a generic ups.
You can try to set it up, but i would think you get the same result
as last try.
What you can do is to plug in the ups to the usb-port and do
cat /proc/bus/usb/devices
or
lsusb -v
and post the outcome. Then we can se what type of interface it
present.
