[Nut-upsuser] Problem detecting USB/HID UPS

Ok, I fooled around with the driver some more, and if I run:
sudo /lib/nut/newhidups -u root -DDDDD auto
I get some output, and the driver makes a connection to the UPS. At
this point, it seems to be a permissions problem (which I don't know how
to fix, with USB).
If I run,
/lib/nut/newhidups -u root -DDDDD auto
I get this:
