[Nut-upsuser] Problem detecting USB/HID UPS

Thanks for the response! However, I am still having trouble :(

As per the instructions in the /scripts/hotplug-ng/README file, I added
the nut-usbups.rules file to the /etc/udev/rules.d directory. I changed
the name and permissions on the .rules file to match the other files.

Also, I added the nut-usbusp.hotplug file to the /etc/hotplug.d/usb
directory (I had to create hotplug.d and usb).

Thanks again for all of the help. Here is some more info:

"brifo at thebeast:/etc/udev/rules.d$ ls -l
total 144
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root   262 2006-05-22 10:25 00-init.rules
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root  1279 2006-08-17 01:49 10-nut-usbups.rules
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root  2264 2006-05-22 10:25 20-names.rules
" (I deleted the other rules, as their names had no relevance to nut or
ups')

ups.conf:
"[myups]
        driver = newhidups
        port = auto

"./upsdrvctl start
