in fact, compat.html was generated using driver.list, but since I've
taken over nut (and the website and ...) just after 2.0.1, I've not
had time to create a script to do the same (this script wasn't shipped
in Russell's package).
it's part of the (low priority) website rewritte, but if somebody is
interested in working on the script, be my guest. some shell, perl or
php (offline) script is fine.
