I saw similar good bat. condition on LEDS on my APC, But, looking
at a battery's voltage only tells one the charge state. If it's
charged, but old & acquired a high internal resistance, the only
way to know is to use it to feed a load.  

I use old car headlamp batteries to test my 12V batteries (usually
one of 2 filaments dies, out of dipped & main beam, & the other is 
still usable).  Put as many as possible in parallel to suck power.
Of course that's an off line dismantled test, after the teeth
gnashing & "why on earth did it fail?" taking out of service ;-).
