I have a Tripp Lite OMNI900LCD. It has a usb connector and claims to
be USB/HID. I haven't been able to get it to work with newusbhid or
tripplite_usb.
Here's lsusb -v output:

If I specify productid then tripplite_usb will recognize the match but
then fails with this error:
Checking device (09AE/2005) (001/013)

After that /dev/usb/hiddev0 disappears and things appear to be
generally ugly until I replug the USB cable.
I can't get newhidups to recognize it at all.
Any suggestions?
