Looking at the pricetag (about 50, according to Google), I would try the
genericups driver (upstype=7) if the megatec driver doesn't communicate
with this UPS. Chances are that all it supports, is a contact closure
interface. The enclosure looks somewhat like the Sweex 500 I once owned
and which also used UPSmart software. As far as I remember, this software
supported both dumb and smart UPS'es.
