can you please try the following:
- stop the driver using:
$ upsdrvctl stop
- restart the driver in debug mode using:
$ /lib/nut/bcmxcp_usb -DDD -a 5110

Leave it running for a couple of minutes, then break it using Ctrl+C and
send us back the output.
You can also restart the driver using:
$ upsdrvctl start
