I updated the FAQ by adding those links.

It seems like the Linux 2.6 power management code should expose a /sys  
file that controls this (similar to the PMU driver). I did not copy  
the setpci commands into the FAQ because they will most likely change  
subtly with each hardware refresh, and are not as generic.
