I installed Sniff USB 2.0 on an XP VM running on a Windows 7 Pro x64 
host. I attached the 3S 550 to that VM and installed the Eaton personal 
solution pac.

I activated logging just long enough for me to disable then enable the 
beeper using Eaton's software. Is this output helpful? If so, I'll do 
similar for low/high transfer setting.

Maybe sometime I can get a Linux usbmon type setup and run the VM on that.
