The only thing that does not appear to be handled is this:

   0.225236	Can't retrieve Report 89: Broken pipe
   0.225329	Path: UPS.ff8600fd, Type: Input, ReportID: 0x89, Offset: 0, Size: 8
   0.226221	Can't retrieve Report 90: Broken pipe
   0.226317	Path: UPS.ff8600fc, Type: Output, ReportID: 0x90, Offset: 0, Size: 8
   0.227216	refresh_report_buffer: expected 33 bytes, but got 2 instead
   0.227312	Report[err]: (2 bytes) => 96 00

Since it says "Can't retrieve Report...", the usual method of fetching the values won't work. This would require a lot of extra investigation of the protocol between the vendor software and the UPS.
