So confused. Downloaded Ubuntu 20.04 (ubuntu-20.04.2-desktop-amd64.iso)
and booted my laptop to a liveCD environment. Watched all the systems logs
and plugged in. UPS did it's "REMOTE SHUTDOWN". Nothing of interest in the
logs. Unplugged the USB and waited about 5m. Plugged USB back into my
laptop, nothing, unplugged... Rebooted the LiveCD environment, plugged USB
back into my laptop, nothing, unplugged... VERY stumped, plugged the USB
cable back into my NAS, and everything is happy.
I know the problem is still there. I know it's going to bite me again, but
I can't seem to reliably trigger it. Very frustrating.
Thoughts?
