Hi Roger,

here is a Diagramm of the Connections
+----------------------------+           +----------------------------+

|  Socomec UPS               |           |nut-server                  |

|  only capable of SNMP      |-----------|Ubuntu Server 20.04         |

|                            |           |with upsd 2.7.4             |

|                            |           |                            |

+----------------------------+           +----------------------------+

                                                     |
                                                     |
+-----------------------------+                      |
|                             |                      |
|  Firewall-1 with upsd 2.6.2 |                      |
|  without SNMP Support       |----------------------+
|                             |
+-----------------------------+
             |
             |
+-----------------------------+
|                             |
|  Firewall-2 with upsd 2.6.2 |
|  without SNMP Support       |
|                             |
+-----------------------------+
My Problem is Firewall-2 can only reach Firewall-1.
Firewall-1 can reach every Device.
The Connection from Firewall-2 to Firewall-1 works via netcat.
On Firewall-1 the nut-server is configured as Monitor and the shutdown
works properly.
I tried to configure this in the ups.conf on Firewall-1
[ups]
        driver = "nutclient"
        port = "netvision at nut-server"
But on start of the upsd i get the Error
Can't connect to UPS [ups] (nutclient-ups): No such file or directory

Kind Regards
Marco Hald

First, it would be good to get a clear understanding of your setup. Is
this
correct?
