OK, you comment caused me to redo most of my huge patch series into a
seven of 7 topic branches that can be pulled individually and that
contain related code only. (except one topic branch which is still
messy, but I won't propose that for inclusion yet).

Thanks for the comments and reviews so far. I will send some of these topic
branches for review and inclusion:

  feature/bugfixes             (straightforward bug fixes)
  feature/code-cleanups        (big series of patches that I sent previously)
  feature/code-simplification  (some simplification of code :))
  feature/sphinx-documentation (autogenerate API docs)
  feature/sqlite-LocalStatus   (sqlite related branch)
  feature/sync-simplification  (improve and document the sync process)
  feature/testsuite            (still uncommitted)

All my branches are on my github too in case you prefer pulling.
