It's a fix marked as stable from upstream and we're in a testing cycle.
Also, we don't have timeline based release cycles, so it's welcome. If
we worry about introducing breackage enough, we'll add -rc releases
and/or make cycle longer.
I'll merge ASAP, giving time to Ethan (cc'ed) to review and sign-off if
he wants to.
