blinkenlights on 6.3.4 vs. 6.5.4

Works for me, OS is FreeBSD 10-CURRENT.  Any chances to strace OI when
it isn't responding to q/^C?

Have garbage'd output too with blinkenlights (normally I am using ttyui, so
hadn't seen this problem by myself).  Will have a look at this.
