new offlineimap takes forever and dies

I just upgraded to Ubuntu 13.04.

Now, offlineimap, which is syncing my gmail to a maildir, takes 25 
minutes, ending in failure, rather than about 20 seconds like it used to 
yesterday.

I'm putting the end of a 26MB log file here, at least for a day: (is there 
no -d debug mode that hides message content, email addresses, and 
passwords?)

It seems to be trying something for a long time (download Spam folder, 
especially?) which is not having any effect...


I want my email back!
