offlineimap segfaults in Ubuntu 13.10

Finally got offlineimap to run the first time by deleting and re-adding
keys to the keyring (though it still doesn't like one of them for some
reason).

But offlineimap still segfaults on any subsequent runs, with error message:

 *** Error in `/usr/bin/python': invalid fastbin entry (free):
0x00007feaa4100600 ***
Segmentation fault
