[parted-devel] New revision control system

Hello all,

  I read some more on RCS, and it seems to me that Monotone would be a
good second choice besides darcs, but it seems that Mercurial is not as
good as those two for our purposes.

  What we want is:

  * cherry-picking

  * painless renames (copy-delete pairs are okay, delete-add [like CVS]
    is not)

  * distributed system (I regularly need disconnected work)

  * checkouts

  * atomic commits (most apart from CVS have this)



  What we don't need is:

  * cheap branching
